At present, the company has not given any details about its India launch. In terms of power and features, Benelli Dong has a 1.2 kW electric motor, which will allow it to reach the top at a speed of 45 kmph. The scooter has a 1.56kWh removable battery pack and the company claims that the scooter can travel up to 60 km on a full charge. The sound of artificial exhaust is also included in this scooter to entice the younger generation, as we have seen in the electric bikes of Rivalt, a vehicle company owned by Micromax.
The design of the Benelli electric scooter is also quite attractive and slightly different from normal scooters. Its back is connected to the floor board by a central shaft. It has LED headlamps with two large LED indicators. The instrument cluster is also digital and circular like Bajaj Chetak EV.
